Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Track record of translating complex business concepts and customer perspectives into elegant, motivating content that supports awareness building, engagement and lead generation across multiple channels and formats.
  • High level of creative problem solving to develop approaches and executions that result in audience-relevant
    content that simultaneously supports differentiated brand positioning and strategic business objectives.
  • Demonstrated experience and commitment to developing content ideas, insights and angles by conducting
    primary and secondary research and interviewing subject-matter-experts (internal and external).
  • Strong experience collaborating effectively with leadership and cross-functional stakeholders inside an organization.
  • Proven leadership managing complex, ongoing projects and freelance resources to achieve planned deliverables
    and deadlines.
  • Proven ability to collaborate collegially and effectively with other creative contributors to concept

and produce on-brand communications that effectively harmonize copy, design and visuals.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • Proven record of excellent writing demonstrated in a professional portfolio.
  • Impeccable grasp of the English language, including idioms and current trends in slang and expressions.
  • Ability to work independently with little or no daily supervision.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to communicate with clients, colleagues, and management.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects with different objectives simultaneously.
  • Strict adherence to the style guides of each company and their policies for publication.
  • Good time management skills, including prioritizing, scheduling, and adapting as necessary.
  • Proficiency with computers, especially writing programs, such as Google Docs and Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with each client’s requirements and the company’s brand image, products, and services.
  • 2-4 Years experience will be preferred for the post.

Skills required

  • Understanding grammar rules and how to construct clear sentences.
  • Being mindful of things like flow, readability, and sentence variety.
  • Computer literacy, as content writers use computers to create projects and to communicate with their team.
  • An understanding of search engine optimization best practices.
  • The ability to cooperate with other writers and editors to complete projects.
  • The ability to give feedback on writing projects.
